Homemade yogurt

Ingredients
  • 1l of whole milk
  • 1/2 l of water
  • 1/2 can of lychees filled with pineapple
  • 2 cups of milk powder
  • 2 natural yogurts
  • Sugar
Preparation

Boil half a liter of water in a saucepan. Once the water starts to boil, add the two cups of milk powder, stir well and let the mixture settle until it is cooled down.

At the same time, in a separate bowl, heat the liter of whole milk together with lychees filled with pineapple, previously drained and crushed, for 5 minutes without letting it boil but very hot. Remove it from the heat and let it cool down.

When both milks are warm, mix them and add all the content of 2 yogurts taking care not to leave lumps in the mixture. Once uniform, add the sugar as desired, depending on how sweet we want the yogurt to be.

Pour the mixture in a container (not metallic), cover it with plastic wrap and let it settle for about 8 hours in the fridge. Once the time has elapsed, we have to make sure that our yogurt is already set, acquiring a firm texture. If not, we can leave it closed one more hour.
