Palm hearts and ham cake

Ingredients
  • 2 puff pastries
  • 300 g of palm hearts
  • 1/2 l of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 250g of sweet ham
  • 250g of fresh cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

 

Preparation

To prepare the filling we use the liquid from the can of palm hearts and the milk. We must obtain half a liter of mixture, with the milk and the liquid of the can in equal parts.

For the filling, take the previously prepared white sauce and add 3 chopped hard-boiled eggs, the thinly sliced hearts of palm, the shredded sweet ham and 250 g of striped fresh cheese. Season it to taste.

Prepare one of the pastries in a baking pan as a base, keeping in mind that we will have to bend the corners. Fill it with the previously prepared mixture and use the other pastry to cover the cake. Paint it with beaten egg and bake it at 180ºC for half an hour. We can serve it both cold and hot.
