- 2 cups of skimmed (non-fat) milk
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- Cornstarch (cornflour)
Put the milk, except 1/4 of cup, in a saucepan with the cinnamon sticks, clove and sugar (2 tablespoons). Heat the mixture without boiling it and stirring constantly, add the two tablespoons of cornstarch diluted with the reserved milk. We will continue stirring with a wooden spoon until it binds and thickens a little. Once in this point, let it rest until it cools.
Strain the milk and mix it with the coconut milk. Taste it and if it is not sweet enough we can add a bit of sweetener. We will serve it sprinkled with cinnamon powder.
