Italian risotto

  • 1 cup of rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 pinch of saffron
  • 50 g of chopped onions
  • 150 g of mushrooms
  • 60 g of butter
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 dram of white wine
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • Oregano and onion seasoning
  • 100 g of grated cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt

Sauté in the butter, the onion, the green pepper, the carrots, the peeled tomatoes, the mushrooms and the potatoes already washed and cut into pieces. Add the rice and sauté it too.

Pour the water, the wine and season with salt, pepper, saffron and the oregano and onion seasoning. Let it cook for about 20 minutes.

When the rice is just right, sprinkle with the grated cheese and serve immediately.
